KidsRegDeadlines helps parents track registration deadlines and deposits across activities. This page explains how we handle information for the MLP (minimum lovable product). It is not formal legal advice — counsel should review before live paid signup at scale.
Who the account holder is
The parent or guardian is the account holder and the only intended operator of this site. KidsRegDeadlines does not collect data directly from children and does not present a child-directed experience. Forwarded emails, notes, or CSVs you choose to send may still reference a minor’s name and activities.
What we store in your browser
The free deadline list saves activity names, deadline dates, deposit/fee amounts, and optional child labels
in your browser’s localStorage on this device. That data does not leave your browser unless you
choose to copy it, email it, or purchase a season pack and send intake details.
Children’s names (optional)
- Children’s names are optional.
- If you add a label, prefer a first name or nickname — not a full legal name, date of birth, school ID, or medical information.
- We use information solely to help compile your season registration pack / deadlines — not to sell data or share it with league platforms.
COPPA-adjacent care
COPPA-adjacent posture: Because registration content can mention minors, we treat parent/guardian as the sole operator, minimize minor-adjacent fields, and avoid a child-facing product. Counsel confirmation of COPPA posture and retention wording is required before scaling live production PII.
Payments
If you buy a season pack, payment card details are handled by Stripe on Stripe-hosted checkout. Card data is never collected on the KidsRegDeadlines origin. Stripe may receive your email and payment details.
Retention (concierge)
If you send season materials to our concierge inbox, we intend to delete them after the relevant season plus a short buffer. Exact retention will be confirmed with counsel before production scale.
